Cookie Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
This website sets no cookies. None at all — no analytics, no advertising, no social widgets. That is also why you are not being asked to accept anything. Fonts are served from our own server, so simply reading this page sends no request to any third party.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser, to remember something about you between pages or visits. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, device identifiers — do much the same job by other means.
European law lets a site use strictly necessary cookies without asking, but requires your prior consent for anything used for analytics or advertising.
2. What this website uses
Nothing that requires your consent. This site is made of static pages. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage, does not run analytics, and embeds no third-party scripts, fonts, maps or social buttons.
Your browser will cache our stylesheet, fonts and images, as it does with any website, and our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, time of request, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. Those logs are kept for a short period and are not used to profile anyone.
The only external links on this site point to the App Store. Following one takes you to Apple, whose own privacy terms then apply.
3. What the iOS app uses
The app is not a browser and uses no cookies, but it does rely on a few identifiers:
| What | Purpose | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| App instance identifier | Groups crash reports and usage events so we can tell one installation's session from another. It is not linked to your name or your Apple ID. | Firebase (Google) |
| Push notification token | Lets us deliver a notification to your device, if you allowed notifications. | Firebase (Google) / Apple |
| Local app storage | Keeps your JustCoin balance and your settings on the device itself. | The app, on your device |
| Purchase receipt | Validates in-app purchases and restores them on a new device. | Apple |
The app shows no advertising and contains no advertising SDK, so nothing tracks you across other apps or websites. If iOS asks you for tracking permission, declining changes nothing about what the app can do.
4. Your choices
- Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings — though on this site there is nothing to block.
- In iOS, Settings → JustSame controls the app's access to your photos, camera and notifications. Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking controls tracking permission.
- Deleting the app removes the data it kept on your device, including your settings.
5. Changes
If we ever add something that stores information in your browser, we will update this page before switching it on, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
